I Like Dating My Husband

Because let's be honest, he's one good-looking guy.
And we make one good-looking couple.
And he took me bowling.

Toady and Brian are big fans of dating too.
They're also big fans of Brian's first strike of the night.

T got excited about his first strike of the night too.

We both got strikes.
We both got gutter-balls.
We're pretty awesome.

Codi and I bought jackets for the guys earlier this week.
If I was a swearing person, I'd swear that these two were brothers in another life.
They're much too alike.

What would a date be if you didn't go out to dessert afterward?
Baskin Robbin's, thank you for your ever-changing flavors.
It made us very very happy.

The girl behind the counter relieved us of our attempts to get a group picture by ourselves and took one for us. She should quit Baskin Robbin's and go into photography.
She captured the absolute fun we'd been having all night.

Date your spouse.
It's a good thing.

I Usually Can't Surprise People.

BUT this time, I was successful!

Monday was our 4-month anniversary. T and I are always looking for some reason to celebrate. Which explains why Friday is our favorite day- we were married on a Friday, thus, we get to party every Friday night.

This time the celebration was for our anniversary and I was determined to surprise my wonderful husband with a trip to Color-Me-Mine. And I did it. I may had to have lied to him to get us there, but he easily forgave me once he learned he was going to be able to make a masterpiece!

T picked what we created. He decided it was time for personalized cereal bowls.

T used his artistic skills and did an amazing batman symbol.
I did a cowgirl.

We are so talented.

My husband has had an artistic talent hidden until we got married. Then,
WHAM!
he was suddenly doing all sorts of amazing things. And this is the boyishly cute face he puts on when he's loving what he is doing. And he loved this place!

Did I mention my sister and her boyfriend came along with us? They're almost as cool as us, but they still have work to do on their funny pictures.
