Love.

(I love sprinkles. I love big spoons. I love white mugs. And I love love!)

Today I taught first graders about antonyms and synonyms. For those of you who have since lost your incredible first grader skills, antonyms are words that are mean the opposite of each other (under/over). On the other hand, synonyms are two different words that mean the same thing (happy/glad). As I was walking home, a weird thought hit me. What would Tyler and I be? Would we be synonyms or would we be antonyms? Everyone always says that opposites attract. Strangely enough though, Tyler and I have always been more similar than we have different.

He likes spicy. So do I.
He likes Cafe Rio. So do I.
He likes bargain shopping. So do I.
He likes running. So do I.
He likes to laugh. So do I.
He likes holding hands. So do I.
He likes getting and writing secretive notes. So do I.
He likes the look of old books. So do I.
He likes chess. So do I.
He likes holidays. So do I.
He likes massages. So do I.

The list really could go on and on. Seriously.
The only thing that I've found that we're opposites in?

He loves me. But I love him.
