Through the good and the bad.

I wondered if I would have fights with my wife when I was younger. Would we yell at each other? Would we not talk for days at a time? Would we see things in the same light, or would we see things in totally different ways? As we've gone through a few months of marriage I've seen how we both do get upset or frustrated or just plain angry, but we've never raised our voices. We've talked. We've communicated our feelings and we've gone away understanding each other better than we had before. I've seen how I have many weaknesses and strenghts and how she does as well. The only thing that I have to regret is that I wasn't as spiritually prepared as she was for me. I can't explain how or why not because it wouldn't make sense to any of you, but I know that I can improve. FHE has become a part of our family, and starting it now will really help us both to find activities that excite even us, let alone our future kids. One thing that I would advise others to do, when they are newlyweds or even looking at getting married, is gain a testimony that you can share with your dates or your spouse and communicate that in every word and deed that you do in your relationship with that person. It will change your life.
