So one thing that me and Jay really hit it off on was chess. The reason why I write about it now is because we just got done playing a grueling game. Both me and her were the only ones in our families that actually enjoyed playing chess. I only learned by playing against my companions on my mission, but now me and Jay have bouts that go on until we're left with 2 or 3 pieces. Chess, as all who know chess will agree, is a game of strategy and being able to see ahead of your opponent. This is one thing that I've noticed in life as well. The devil is playing chess with us and if we take the bait we're in for a world of hurt. Just need to keep your guard up and make a plan. It's easier when you make goals and then work to achieve it. Dodging whatever flak is thrown your way. I know that's how I need to live.
