I Once Wrote My Husband a Poem

And I thought it might be nice to recover it and remind the man I love how much I really do love him!

There once was a man
Who had a little wife
She loved things in order
Which started to grate on the man's life.

She pestered and nagged
Til the dishes were done
She even made sad
The one who helped her have fun.

The man was calm
And patient was he
Waiting til his wife
Found how she'd rather be.

She made a new goal
Not to pester or nag
And instead show her husband
The woman under the hag.

She wants to brighten his day
And do things for him
Because who would she be
Without the man who fills her cup to the rim?

She loves her baby
And hope he still loves her too
She'll make him some dinner
And kissin' they'll do.

When it's time for lights out
She'll nuggle up close
And thank her cute husband
For liking her toes.

She'll have dreams of sweet
Of husbands and clouds
He'll have to forgive her
She'll make him so proud!

I thought I'd reflect on my goal of being a happier, more loving wife. I think I'm being quite successful. But you'll have to ask T to make sure...

P.S. Prepare for T's birthday week next week! He gets his choice of breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday all next week. And... he's getting some good birthday gifts.
Just sayin'.
