7 Brides for 7 Brothers

The weekend before school started we decided to take a day and enjoy ourselves with family.
So we took off and went to the closing show of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers at Sundance with the coolest family.
EVER.

It was a hot, hot day, and we got there early to wait at the beginning of the line for them to open up the outside theatre space.

So we wasted used our time by taking pictures.
Enjoy.

Me and the best-lookin' hubs around.

The parents that planned the whole shebang and got us altogether.  They're prepared like that.  And it makes all of the siblings (who happen to all be over 23) super happy to bug enjoy each other.
And somehow the padres still put up with all of us.

The whole family (minus the two who couldn't make it).  We kinda love each other.
A lot. A lot.
I don't know what I'll do if we all end up moving more than half an hour away from each other.
I'll probably have a mental-emotional-physical-and everythinginbetween breakdown.

Did you know my Mom is a twin?  They're both remarkable women and if you've never met them, you're missing out.  They're still the best of friends and close as ever.  My sisters and I better stay close like they have.

Waiting for the show to start!
7 Brides for 7 Brothers is my all-time favorite play and movie.
It's a classic and my children will one day be required to memorize and know all of the songs.
Yes, that's right, I said required.

The sibs.  We're the best of friends.
Including the husbands who married into a family of tight-knit sisters.

The set!  Sundance is amazing.  And the coolest thing was that the guy who was over the whole shebang videoed us singing "Happy Birthday" to Robert Redford because it was his birthday!  How neat is that?!  I sang to Robert Redford.
Neat-o.

And, of course, we had to buy a snack.
After waiting in line for forever and eating dinner waaaay early, we splurged at got the warm loaf of bread and fresh honey butter.  Oh I die.
It was so delicious and a great way to start the show!

In all, the play was fantastic.
The cast put their hearts into the show and really displayed great acting talents.
It was one of the best productions of this play I've seen.
The backdrop, props, cast, lighting, and everything else was so fabulous.
Oh how I could go on and on.
But just know, the next time Sundance does 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, don't think hard about it and just go.
