Spring Break

Spring Break started off with a perfect pizza picnic with T.

We used our BlackJack Pizza coupon and grabbed our favorite pizza- the Mediterranean.  It's taken some serious hunting to find a place that makes our favorite pizza.  We eat pizza at least once a week.

At least.

We have a pizza fetish.  Which means we also have to put in some serious exercise hours during the week.  So worth it.

After picking up our feta, olive, and tomato perfection we headed up Provo Canyon to our spot on the hill in the park.

I got to have this charmer all to myself for the evening.

Pizza and Root Beer.  They pair so well together.  You can't have one without the other.

The next two days we spent dyeing eggs, being with family, and remembering our Savior during the Easter holiday.

Grandma bought some neat-o Easter egg dyes this year.  We tease her that she buys the cooler ones as we get older.  This year she bought a speckling kit and a color foil kit.

Our metallic/foil eggs turned out the neatest...

Then we got our speckle on...

The mama, grandma, and Karen came to dye eggs with us too.

Then the Madsen fam had our annual Easter egg roll.

I was soo close to winning this year.  So close.  I'm pretty sure I've never won the Madsen Easter Egg Roll.

Misty beat me out this year.  I came in a close second.

Overall, it was a happy Easter.  The sacrament meeting talks were fabulous.  We love our Savior and I am grateful every day for his sacrifice for me.  I know that I would die for my Savior, but even more than that, I'm willing to live for Him and give my entire life to service to Him.

Happy Easter.
