New Years Eve Lunch.

Today we spent the morning and afternoon cleaning out closets and figuring out what clothes we can do without/haven't worn for ages.  We actually made a lot of room and dejunked quite a few clothes.  It was a good feeling and is just one more step to preparing for this baby of ours.

For a break, we took off to Target to grab some Rubbermaid containers for storage as we move things downstairs.  We also grabbed a few containers of new Christmas ornaments to use for next Christmas (70% clearance!).  We usually just use the ornaments I got from my Grandma and Grandpa Madsen growing up.  We decided next year we'll still use those, but use some more classic gold and red ornaments to spice our tree up.  Who knows?  We might not even use them if we have a genius baby who is crawling already (?!?!?).

Misty came with us and we stopped off to get chicken and pork tamales from the Tamale lady (she sells home-made Tamales on the side of the road in Provo) for lunch.

Oh yum.  They're heaven.  And only a $1.35 for each tamale.

 {I'm pregnant and excited for to eat my tamales.  Don't judge.}

 {Misty went to Guatemala for her mission and apparently they eat tamales on New Years Eve to bring in the New Year.  So, Happy New Years Eve Guatemalan style!}

 {One at a time, T.  One at a time.}

Dear tamales, we love you.
