He did it! T graduated in finance from UVU this past Friday! It's been an adventurous road of school for him.
When we met, he was at UVU and was in the middle of transferring to BYU. As he applied for BYU programs, he realized he wanted to specialize in Finance and at the time, BYU didn't have their Finance program so he transferred back over to UVU the semester before BYU got their Finance program. The hassle of transferring back and forth just wasn't worth it and in the end, we're both so grateful he stayed with UVU's Finance program. He rocked his classes and worked hard these past couple of semesters.
In the past couple of years, T has had an internship that turned into a part-time job and is now a full-time job with benefits and some little perks. He's learned to wear several hats throughout the business and has loved working at Arellia doing mainly their finances with many other odds and ends that come with working in a smaller business.
He's worked incredibly hard to ensure that our little family will be set for the future and that he can provide for our basic needs and what we need in the upcoming years. I'm oh so proud of this man of mine and couldn't be happier for my little graduate!
T chose to just do convocation and walk, which was actually short and sweet!

T was lucky enough to have some family come and support him on his special day. They all either got work off, missed school, or took time out of their super busy days to make sure he knew that they loved him. It was a good feeling.

Grandpa Kussee ended up sitting in the stands across from us so we couldn't quite get his picture during convocation!
I had to run with my prego 9th month belly down the stairs to catch a picture of a him before he walked on stage to be given his diploma. They move them through fast! This is the last picture before T receives his diploma... proud moment for this little wife!
{getting ready to go on stage}
I didn't get a great picture of him shaking hands with the Dean and receiving his diploma, but he looked up in time when he was sitting down to get a decent picture with his diploma!
AFter convocation was over, we headed outside to take some pictures of our grad!
Baby Girl and I are pretty proud of our handsome graduate. He's worked so hard for us and we can't wait to see what he'll conquer next in the future!

So happy to be done with school and classes! Onto bigger and better things!
After pictures outside, we headed over to Grandma Billings house where she had a delicious lunch set-up for everyone in her backyard. She's one amazing Grandma who thinks the world of Tyler. She's always so proud of her grandkids and their accomplishments. She always says that graduating college is one huge accomplishment, which means it should be celebrated with good food and family!
T's parents got him a rockin' laptop bag for his "grown-up" job and he received some thoughtful and fun gifts from the rest of the fam (including a Batman coloring book-thanks, Myst!).
Even Melanie and Damon made it!
{Talya, T, and Stuart}
Grandma and Grandpa Kussee are some of our favorite people. T was so glad they could make it to help us celebrate! They always make us smile and leave us with lots of happy memories.

Tacie and Karen even came from a long day of school and work to let Tyler know they love him. They're pretty awesome relatives...

It was a fantastic day with T surrounded by people who loved him and were extremely proud of him. Graduating college is a huge accomplishment in my book. It's hard. And it's not always fun. I'm so so proud! I think I'd burst at the seams, but then it might send me into labor.
On a completely different sidenote, Baby Dylin got blessed this weekend! We had fun celebrating her special day with Kole and Airyn and the rest of the Kussee family. It was a perfect day to be outside and enjoying conversation and food with everyone. T and I were pretty in love with Dylin, but I think T was even more so. This man just wants his baby here.
Now.
Personally, I'm still okay waiting a couple more weeks. But then I see this...
and my heart melts a little and I can't wait to meet our Baby Girl.
Congrats, Kussee family! What an accomplishment! It's so good to see Karen, too. Tell her hello for me, and tell her I'll also be working at a Franklin Elementary next year, so lots of student teaching memories are flooding back to me. She's so amazing. I'm hoping to channel some Mrs. Hoffman to start off a new year at a new school. Best of luck to you and your hubby on your impending adventures!
