after school snack

When I was little, my mom always had cookies, crackers, or graham cracker sandwiches with frosting in between them for our after school snack.  

Sometimes I still drop by my parents house after school so I can grab an after school snack after a long day of teaching.

Today it was a frozen chocolate chip cookie that I sneaked out of the house while my mom was incognito.  It was the best part of my day.  

Heaven is in my mom's cookies.

Once Upon a Time

We attempted to make sugar cookies.

And we succeeded!

After borrowing my mother's huge collection of cookie cutters and stealing her sugar cookie recipe, we rolled out our dough and cut away!

We may have gotten a little carried away with the rolling pin while the cookies were cooking.

Poor T got sick of cutting and baking them after a while.
He went on strike.

But our "self" cookies turned out to be quite similar to us.
