a weekend of productivity and fun.

Last weekend was pretty rockin'.  We sent a couple of our friends on a date to celebrate the launch of an engineering marvel that they've been working on forever and baby #3 that is on their way to join their family.  We rocked at spoiling their #1 and #2 kiddos with pizza and fun and games all night while their parents actually went on a date!

It was pretty rockin' and good prep for when we do end up having kids...

The Brain came over to deliver some things we asked him and the Toad to pick up from Costco for us.  I ended up roping him into cleaning our front window that hasn't been cleaned.  Ever.  Tyler helped him while I sat and took pictures of them.  And then felt guilty for letting them do all of the work so I cleaned the front door.

They really did have fun!  And now you can see through our windows.  They were pretty disgusto...

Then we took Maverik to the Supersonic Carwash and where they cleaned Maverik (a.k.a our Mazda truck, why yes, we do name all of our vehicles) inside and out readied him for pictures so he can be sold.

Yep.  Sold.  It makes me sad to sell him, but it's time that we get a bigger vehicle that we can actually put stuff in the backseat if it's raining and not have to cover everything with a tarp or put our bags in large Rubbermaid containers while we travel.

T spoiled me rotten and took me on a date.  First, to Ikea so we could pick up another rug for my classroom then over to Firehouse Subs (can you say that we're addicted?) and then to Yogurtland for dessert.

Productive and yet entirely fun weekend!

a hot date

We really like to go on dates.

Like, a lot.

Last Saturday we had 2 dates in the same day.

Even better!

Date #1 involved heading to Hale Center Theatre in Orem and laughing like crazy at "Lend Me a Tenor."  You definitely have to have an open mind for it, but we laughed during the entirety of the play.

We always sit on the West side of the theatre.  Maybe it's because my parents always sit on that side.    Or maybe because it's just the best side to sit on.

The theatre seats just got changed to beautiful, cushy (is that even a word?) deep red seats.

You can even get your name written on them for $300 a pop.  If I had that kind of money to spend, how cool would it be to have your name on one of the seats?

Although, having a star named after me sounds a lot more glamorous than having someone's tush sitting on a chair with my name on it.

Date #2 was spent in good company of some friends in our ward.  It was fun to get to know some of the couples and their love stories.  Seriously, one of the most fun nights of the month.  There was a lot of work and preparation put into it and it was ridiculously fun.

T decided he wanted to dress up for it so we did!  It was fun to have a reason to dress up and enjoy each other's company.

Such a fun weekend.

We certainly did not want it to end!
