The bright clothes, the crimped hair, even the big hoop earrings are things I've always made fun of when other girls do it.
I always vowed that I would never ever dress like them.
And then my mentor suggested that we dress up as 80's dancers and match each other.
I was doomed from that moment on to dress up in bright, spandexy, and baggy clothes.

It took me, my mother, and a funny Spanish lady who worked at DI to find the gray spandex.
Who knew DI doesn't have a whole lot of spandex?
Then my mother found the *boots
(*note, they were brand new from DI. Just thought it was worth mentioning)
Which meant I wore the two worst colors on me- Green and yellow.
BUT, I do have to say, it turned out pretty awesome.
Besides the fact that I look like I'm twelve all over again.
P.s. I love the fifth grade! It's better than first grade already!

You look fabulous! I met your aunt yesterday! It made my day. Thanks for the hello through her.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Jamie! I like fifth grade myself most days. It's nice having a variety of grades to work with!
