The first of many...

As me and Jay have gotten closer and closer to that first year mark I find it really interesting how other people recognize it is almost a year before we do ourselves. This year has really flown by, but I think we've been enjoying it all the way. I personally wonder how she puts up with my weird habits of leaving empty water bottles around the house and also in the fridge (she hates that so much), and other things and still finds it in her heart to make a wonderful dinner for the both of us. I'm really grateful for her kindness and understanding. These last few weeks have been really stressful for both of us, and unfortunately sometimes we don't take it very well. I'd like to say we haven't had arguments or what not but we have. The thing is that those arguments have helped us to understand one another and I for one feel like a better and more grown up couple because of them. I kinda look forward to those discussions sometimes because then I'll learn how to avoid that particular button of her's in the future. I'd like to take this chance to tell Jamie thanks for the first of many wonderful years. I'm sure we'll have lots more to write about on this blog, maybe not me but definitely her. Thanks, Jay, I love ya!
