18 WEEKS.

So close to halfway through this pregnancy and our next appointment to finding out this baby's gender.

I'm itching to start on the baby room.  We'll start moving stuff out of the spare room to the basement midway through January and then start fixing up the nursery.  We both love the idea of a gray and yellow color scheme with some chevron patterns.

We're also both pretty set on the no baby room theme idea.  No jungles, no bears, cars, flowers, nothing.  Simple, clean, crisp, and classic is what we're going for.

We obviously have a little while before we actually start putting things together.

This belly of mine is still the same.  I still don't look pregnant until I put my arms around my belly and turn to the side (and completely relax my stomach muscles.  Otherwise, still no baby belly.  Which, is okay for now.  I'm sure it will get bigger soon enough.

Food is looking and tasting gooooood these days.  I'm still not partial to white bread (which we don't usually buy anyways), but tomatoes are back on the menu along with all other veggies!  I wouldn't eat them with every meal, but it's a definite improvement to have salads and raw veggies to eat and snack on.

We're still trying to wrap our heads around the whole "we're-about-to-become-parents" idea.  It's terrifying and exhilarating at the same time.  We made a baby and it will be here in 5 months.

Maybe that's a little more terrifying than exhilarating...
